BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 13.12.2025 This is an appeal filed by the claimant-appellant against the Award dated 20.08.2024 passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 11, Hailakandi (for short MACT, Hailakandi) in MAC Case No. 117/2021. Ms. Hena Haflongbar, Assistant Manager of The New India Insurance Assurance Company Ltd. (Insurance Company) and the claimants-1. Shri Nirmal Singha and 2. Smti. Ranjita Singha along with their learned counsel, Shri Mithun Talukdar are present today i.e., 13.12.2025 in the National Lok Adalat. It is submitted that the Award has been satisfied. The parties present jointly submit that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and an additional lump sum amount Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh fifty thousand) only as full and final settlement has been agreed upon. In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the aforesaid amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh fifty thousand) shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the MACT, Hailakandi within a period of 45 days from today.
