On 12.02.2025, the counsel for the petitioner sought time and the counsel for the respondent was absent. This Court observed that on 29.01.2025, this Court made it clear that if the counsel for the respondent does not appear on they next date of hearing, the matter will be heard in his absence. Inspite of the said order, the counsel for the petitioner is not ready to argue the matter and finally, time of two weeks was granted. Today, no - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:8609 CRL.RP No. 1112 of 2021 representation on behalf of the petitioner and the counsel for the respondent also not pursuing the matter. Hence, it appears that the counsel for the respective parties are not interested in pursuing the matter diligently. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
