ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents.
2. Challenging the Proceedings, dated 19.12.2019 issued in Form-II under the provisions of Rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Rules, 2007 (in short herein after referred as ‘the Rules, 2007’), the instant writ petition is filed.

3. It is contended that the petitioner’s father was granted D-Form Patta on payment of market value. After his lifetime, the petitioner has succeeded the property. Form – II was issued to the GPA without issuing any notice to the petitioner. It is contended that the petitioner’s GPA holder has already submitted explanation to the said show cause notice on 30.12.2019 through registered post with acknowledgment due and final orders have been passed on the said representation. Apprehending the threat of dispossession, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition.
4. This Court vide order, dated 08.01.2020 directed the respondents to maintain ‘Status Quo’ as of date.

In that view of the matter, since no final orders have been passed in terms of the provisions of Section 4 of the Rules, 2007, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders pursuant to the notice issued in Form – II, dated 19.12.2019, not later than six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of the order, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner. Till passing of such orders, the petitioner shall not be dispossessed from the subject land.
6. With the above observation, the writ petition is accordingly
disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
