ORAL ORDER
The present RPFC is filed by the petitioner aggrieved by the order passed in Crl.Misc.No.145/2016 dated 15.06.2022 by the VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, whereby the Family Court had granted maintenance of an amount of Rs.10,000/- from the date of petition till the lifetime.
2. When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.5,000/- per month, but when it comes to the arrears, he had sought for two years' time which is not agreeable to the respondent.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to pay an amount of Rs.5,000/- per month from the date of order i.e., 15.06.2022 and he will pay the arrears within a period of six months in three equal instalments and he will continue to pay an amount of Rs.5,000/- by 5th of every succeeding month.
4. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that it is acceptable to the respondent and the respondent is also present in the Court.

5. Having heard the learned counsels on either side, perused the entire material on record. Considering the
submissions on behalf of both the parties, this Court is passing the following order:
ORDER
i. The order passed in Crl.Misc.No.145/2016 dated 15.06.2022 by the VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, is modified and the petitioner shall continue to pay an amount of Rs.5,000/- by 5th of every succeeding month.
ii. Arrears from 15.06.2022 till today shall be paid within a period of six months in three equal instalments at the rate of Rs.5,000/- per month.
iii. Accordingly, the RPFC is disposed of.
iv. All I.As. in this RPFC shall stand closed.
