Mr. Imrul Hassan ORDER The case is brought before the National Lok Adalat for adjudication. The Shriram General Insurance Co. Ltd. is represented by its duly authorized official, namely, Mr. Rajendra Dutta, Legal Manager. The Claimant, namely, Dipanjali Medhi, is present in person, along with her engaged counsel, Mr. M. Khan. It is submitted that the total awarded amount was Rs. 33,15,616/- (Rupees Thirty-Three Lakh Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Sixteen Only), which has already been paid. After further negotiations, both parties have mutually agreed to settle the matter for an additional amount of Rs. 3,25,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only), as full and final settlement of the claim. Accordingly, The Shriram General Insurance Co. Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit the remaining balance amount of Rs. 3,25,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only) before the Registry of this Court, within one month from the date of this order. Out of the total sum of Rs. 3,25,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty- Five Thousand Only), Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) shall be paid to the Claimant No. 1, Dipanjali Medhi (wife of the deceased), and the remaining Rs. 2,25,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only) shall be paid to Claimant No. 2, Mahindri Barman (mother of the Page No.# 3/3 deceased). The Claimants, are permitted to withdraw their respective shares of the deposited amount upon proper verification and identification. The appeal stands disposed of, in terms above.
