It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is claiming compassionate appointment of a fair price shop on the ground that the grand father of the petitioner is a fair price shop dealer. In this respect, the petitioner has filed an application dated 23.12.2024 before respondent no.2, which is pending consideration. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner's application dated 23.12.2024 will be decided by respondent no.2 in a time bound manner. In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the petitioner's application dated 23.12.2024 for grant of fair price shop on compassionate ground as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 30 days from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
