Non-applicant submits that the total disputed amount, in the case at hand, is Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand) only. As per the averments made in the petition, a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lacs and fifty thousand) has been deposited with the Rent Controller, Mandi on 25.08.2023. Since, admittedly the amount in dispute is only Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand), therefore, the Rent Controller, Mandi is directed to release Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lacs) along with proportionate interest accrued thereupon to the present applicant. The amount be remitted to the bank account, details whereof, have been given in Paragraph-3 of the present application, subject to proper verification. The application stands disposed of. ( Bipin C.
