GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents more particularly respondent No.3 in not conducting the investigation and not making any efforts to file the charge sheet in F.I.R No.173 of 2022 of II Town Police Station, Anantapur, Ananthapuram District is illegal arbitrary and in violation of principles of natural justice and contrary to the very provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code and consequently direct the respondents more particularly respondent No.3 to conduct the investigation 2 and file the charge sheet in F.I.R No.173 of 2022 of II Town Police Station, Anantapur, Ananthapuram District.” 2. Sri D.Prudhvi Teja, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, charge sheet is not filed in F.I.R.No.173 of 2022 of II Town Police Station, Anantapur and a direction may be given to the Police to conclude the investigation and file charge sheet in the said crime. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the investigation is going to be completed. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
