The direction in the order of learned Single Judge dated 25.10.2023, while disposing of the writ petition, was to require respondent Nos.2 to 4 to consider the representations dated 06.09.2021 and 04.01.2022 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within outer limit of eight weeks. This direction was made subject matter of the present contempt petition. 2.
By filing the compliance affidavit, the respondents have produced endorsement dated 08.10.2024 issued by the office of the Tahsildar and Taluk Magistrate of Thirthahalli in which it is

stated, by relying on a circular of the State Government, that as per the Circular dated 23.06.2012, after amendment in the extent of land under possession, the direction for phodi and durast would be given subsequently and that there is no provision for pakka phodi of 50 Acres. 3. In view of the above endorsement, the direction could be said to be complied with as the representations of the petitioners are considered. In view of the above, the contempt proceedings are closed. 4. However, the complainants are not precluded from challenging the endorsement on its merits, if so advised, in respect of which however this Court has not expressed any opinion. 5.
