The contents of the writ petition indicates that the services of the petitioner were taken on contract basis for a particular period, that period has expired long back. 3. The contract of the petitioner has not been continued. The respondents might have filled the said post through regular selection process, hence under the changed circumstances, no cause of action survives with the petitioner to continue with this petition.
