The present writ petition is filed to declare the action of the 3 respondent vide proceedings Rc.No.2550/A2/2025 dated 21.07.2025, where the request for transfer to MPPS, Mangalam Colony of PUnganur Mandal, Chittoor District, was rejected contrary to Rule 9(a)(iii) of the G.O.Ms.No.22 School Education (Services.il) Department dated 20.05.2025. 2. The case of the petitioner is that she is working as School Assistant Mathematics at ZPHS (Girls) Punganur Madal, Chittoor District and sought for transfer to MPPS, Mangalam Colony, Punganur Mandal, Chittoor District, as she is taking treatment for cancer. 3. Sri Keerthi Teja, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions of the Director of the School Education, stated that the case of the petitioner would be considered for posting her in MPPS, Mangalam Colony, Punganur Mandal, Chittoor District, as a special case. The relevant portion of the instructions is extracted hereunder; “In obedience to the orders of the Hon’ble High Court, the Director of School Education, AP has conducted personal hearing with the petitioner in his chamber on 06.08.2025. After conducting personal hearing with the petitioner and circumstances explained on her sufferings with Cancer, as a special case, decision has been taken to consider the plea and informed that action will be 4 taken to post her in MPPS, Mangalam Colony of Punganur Mandal, Chittoor District.” 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to take appropriate action pursuant to the above extracted decision within a period of six (06) weeks from today.
