From perusal of postmortem report, it appears that the deceased has sustained several anti-mortem abrasion on his person. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the 15 named persons in the F.I.R.. It was further submitted that the deceased died after 26 days from the date of occurrence. It was also submitted that injury was also caused to the accused persons and occurrence took place due to free fight between the parties due to the land dispute. During the course of investigation, several witnesses have specifically stated that the petitioner has given several lathi blows on the person of the deceased. Considering the fact and circumstances of this case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected, at this stage. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
