Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State. 3. Perused the record. On 29.10.2024 Crime No.356/2024 of Vedayapalem Town Police Station, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District was registered for the offences punishable under Section 326(f) of BNS. The petitioner alleged to have committed the offence prior to 22.07.2024. Having heard both sides, it is seen that the offence is punishable with imprisonment of seven years and less than seven years. It is, in these circumstances, investigating Police are directed to comply with Section 35(3) of BNSS scrupulously and all the directions given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the judgment in Arnesh Kumar vs. State of Bihar and other related rulings. 4. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
