disposed of the said writ petition expecting the respondents to constitute the District Grievance Redressal Committee as well as Town Vending Committee within a time frame, i.e three months from the date of completion of the Bye-Elections.
2.
Learned counsel for respondents No.2, 3 and 5 states that the Bye-Elections are over in March, 2025. She also states that the vendors, as existing on today, shall not be disturbed till the Vending Committee and District Grievance Redressal Committee are formed whose report shall be taken into consideration for the purpose of allotment of vending zones and sites.

We, therefore, expect the concerned Mayor and the other authorities of Municipal Corporation to take positive steps as required under the Act, 2014 and form the Town Vending Committee as well as the District Grievance Redressal Committee. Vending zones and sites shall also be ear-marked for the purpose as provided under the Act, 2014 and the report shall be submitted to this Court by way of Compliance Report after three months. The case shall be placed before this Court only for the purpose of compliance in the Month of July, 2025.
