The Petitioner herein passed 10*^ Class from the Board of Secondary Education in the year 2022 in distinction. Thereafter, she joined in Polytechnic Course (Diploma in Computer Engineering) in Chalapathi Institute of Technology, Mothadaka, She successfully completed the said course in March/April 2025 and she was awarded Diploma Certificate. Thereafter, the petitioner intended to pursue law course, as such, she approached VIT University, Amaravati for admission in 5 year integrated LL.B course and made an application on 12.05.2025 for joining 5 year integrated B.A.,LL.B. course. Subsequently, she came to know through the staff of the VIT University that she is not eligible for 5 year integrated LL.B course, as she has not pursued Intermediate (10 + 2) course, and in view of the same, the application of the petitioner has been kept pending. Then the petitioner made application under the Right to Information Act, 2005, dated 30.06.2025, requesting respondent No.2 to clarify whether 3 year diploma course is equivalent to Intermediate (10+2) course to enable her to pursue 5 year LL.B. course, for which respondent No.2 sent a reply dated 14.07.2025, along with APLAWCET-2025 Test Notification, stating that the candidates 2. Hence, 3. Heard learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Higher Education. 4. Learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner submits that as the admissions for 5 year LL.B. Course are going on, respondent Nos.2 and 3 may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2025 and clarify whether petitioner’s diploma course is equivalent to Intermediate (10+2) Examination to enable her to pursue 5 year LL.B. course or not. the 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, since the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2025 is pending consideration before respondent Nos.2 and 3, without going into the merits of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with the following direction at the stage of admission. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to dispose of the representation of the SRK, J WP No. 19805 of 2025 5 petitioner dated 19.07.2025, in accordance with law, expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be order as to costs. as no As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
