Page No.# 2/2 learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The case against the petitioner is registered under Howly PS C/No. 91/2025 u/s/ 137(2)/351(2) r/w Section 6 and 8 of the POCSO Act. It is submitted by learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the charge sheet has not yet been submitted and the petitioner has crossed the statutory period of detention behind bars since he was arrested on 17.08.2025. Hence, the petitioner is entitled to grant of bail. Accordingly, it is directed that the petitioner namely, Abdur Rahman, shall be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with two surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Elaka Magistrate, Assam in connection with the aforesaid case. It is further provided that the petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation and shall not try to influence the witnesses or tamper with the evidence. It is also provided that the petitioner shall not leave the District without prior permission of the learned Elaka Magistrate, Assam. The Bail Application stands disposed of.
