HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case: TrP (Crl) No. 5/2025 CrlM No. 541/2025 Daljeet Singh ….Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through :- Mr. Aman Bhagotra, Advocate V/s Visha Devi & Anr. ….Respondent(s) Through :- None. Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH SEKHRI, JUDGE ORDER 15.07.2025 None for the respondents, despite service. The petitioner has sought transfer of a maintenance petition filed by the respondent-wife in the Court of learned Munsiff, Thathri [“the trial court”], primarily, on the ground of his own convenience. It is a trite position of law that in matrimonial cases or petitions for maintenance, the prime consideration is the convenience of the wife and minors. Since respondent is living within the territorial jurisdiction of the trial Court, the present petition is found without any merit. Hence, the present petition is dismissed along with connected CrlM(s). (RAJESH SEKHRI) JUDGE Jammu: 15.07.2025 Meenakshi Sr.No.38
