Mr. A. K. Purkayastha, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner, submits that the projection made in the writ petition of existence of a Government policy, notified on 08.04.1988, permitting further 5 (five) years service to a teacher beyond the age of 60 years, was subsequently found to have occasioned on account of a misunderstanding. Mr. Purkayastha, submits that the petitioner having realized the said aspect has requested him not to press the writ petition any further. Mr. A. K. Purkayastha, learned counsel, appearing for the petitioner, accordingly prays that he be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition. Prayer is not objected to by Mr. N. J. Khataniar, learned Standing Counsel, Elementary Education Department, Ms. R. Dutta,
