This Court, vide order dated 11.10.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6843 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the applicants, namely, Banwari, Mukesh Gadri and Rikesh Bairagi, had expressed its trust that the trial RAJSHEKHAR SONI Digitally signed by RAJSHEKHAR SONI 2 Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 11.10.2023. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raigarh, District-Raigarh, (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 19.12.2024 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, 09 prosecution witnesses have been examined and 03 prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined. Due to the absence of witnesses, the trial could not proceed further, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. Therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
