When the death is not immediately reported and when it is sought to be belatedly reported, after the period of one year, a detailed procedure is prescribed under the Act as well as the Rules. 2.A perusal of the material records of the case, it can be seen that the petitioner has approached the appropriate authority and the application is pending for enquiry as on date.
