The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No. 54 of 2023, corresponding to S.T. No.27 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Dumka. On 27.07.2023 at about 11:40 a.m., deceased Amarnath Singh was shot dead by named accused persons near Nandi Chowk. It was submitted that there is general allegation against all the accused persons. It was further submitted that the informant and other witnesses have turned hostile during trial. It was finally submitted that co-accused Uttam Kumar Mahato @ Uttam Mahato @ Uttam Mahto and co-accused Ganesh Singh @ Nishant Singh have been granted bail by this Court. It was also submitted that similarly situated co-accused Abhishek Singh @ Bittu Singh @ Bittu and co-accused Dipak Chaudhary @ Teka Chaudhary @ Teka @ Deepak Chaudhary have been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Dumka, in connection with Jarmundi P.S.
