Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Notice confined to respondents No. 1 to 3, which is waived by Mr. Y.P.S.Dhaulta, learned Additional Advocate General. With the consent of the parties, matter is heard at this stage. 2. This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive reliefs:- “a ) That appropriate writ, order or direction may 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - kindly be issued, directing the respondents to grant the employment to the petitioner in project (M/s Himachal Sorang Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd.) in view of the memorandum dated 23 sep. 2004 and notification dated 11 June 2007. II. That respondent may very kindly be directed to provide Employment permanently/through project authority in the project instead of contractor, as per the memorandum dated 23 sep. 2004 and notification dated 11 June 2007. In the interest of law and justice. III. That the Respondent may kindly be directed to give preference for employment in project to adversely affected family member, as a result of the acquisition of land for the project.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of the grievances raised in this writ petition, petitioner has preferred a representation dated 04.10.2024 (Annexure P-4) to the Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur at Rekong Peo-respondent No.3 for claiming the above reliefs. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case respondent No.3/competent authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representation within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition - 3 - is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2024 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
