The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire records from the respondents. 10.2 That, the respondent Competent Authority hold the action, petitioner is entitle of the Chhattisgarh Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Regulation of Social Status Certification) Act, 2013 for the permanent caste certificate of schedule caste. 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be please to direct the respondent, by issuing the writ in the nature of mandamus to provide a permanent caste certificate of Schedule Caste to the petitioner. 10.4 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be please to direct the respondents Competent Authority, should be issued the Temporary Caste Certificate. 10.5 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief or pass such other and further orders as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case in the interest of justice. The petitioner may also kindly be awarded in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belongs to the scheduled caste community and an application for the issuance of social status certificate was moved before the appropriate authority on 01.05.2017. He would further submit that though the petitioner was informed by the Tehsildar, Raipur for investigation but till date, no one has approached and the social status certificate has not been issued. 3. On the other hand, Mr. Ramteke, the learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State would oppose the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 4. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. Taking into consideration the fact that the application was moved for the issuance of social status certificate on 01.05.2017 and till date the same has not been decided by the respondent authorities, therefore, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to conclude the proceedings expeditiously within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
