Date of order : 03.06.2026. (O R D E R) [1] Heard Mr. Rendy M., learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mrs. Ch, Sundari, learned GA appearing for the respondent no. 1 to 4 and Mr. Kh. Satish, learned counsel representing Mr. Boboy Postsangbam, learned C.G.S.C appearing for the respondent no. 5. [2] At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that both the writ petitions as well as the WP(C) No. 877 of 2025 Page 5 connected application can be disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Chandel District, Government of Manipur (respondent no. 4) to consider the representations dated 09.09.2025 and 22.10.2025 submitted by the petitioners in WP(C) No. 877 of 2025 and the representations dated 09.09.2025 and 23.09.2025 submitted by the petitioners in WP(C) No. 844 of 2025 on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules law and to disposed of the same by issuing a speaking orders within a stipulated period. [3] Mrs. Ch. Sundari, learned GA and Mr. Kh. Satish, learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners is confined to the consideration and disposal of the representations submitted by them, they have no objection in disposing of this writ petitions as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. [4] Considering the submission advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the simple prayers made on behalf of the petitioners, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions; (i) The Deputy Commissioner, Chandel (respondent no. 4) is hereby directed to consider the representations dated 09.09.2025, WP(C) No. 877 of 2025 Page 6 22.10.2025, 09.09.2025 and 23.09.2025 submitted by the petitioners on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rule/guidelines and disposed of the same by the issuing speaking orders. (ii) It is made clear that the whole process should be completed within a period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of certified of this order. (iii) It is made clear that the above directions have been issued without considering the merit of the writ petition.
