This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in paying compensation for the electrocution of his son Atul Kumar. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that raising his grievances the petitioner has filed the application dated 23.11.2024 before the respondent No.5/Executive Engineer Vidyut Vitran Khand, however the same has not yet been decided by the said authority. 4. Upon due consideration, we are of the view that the respondent No.5 should be directed to decide the application of the petitioner dated 23.11.2024. 5. Accordingly, the respondent No.5/Executive Engineer Vidyut Vitran Khand is directed to decide the application of the petitioner dated 23.11.2024 within a period of twelve weeks from date after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.
