Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the petitioner, namely, Jabed Ahmed, has prayed for granting pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with Jorhat P.S. Case No. 233/2025, under Section 21(b)/25 of NDPS Act. 3. The allegation in the FIR is that the recovery of intermediate quantity of suspected heroine from the possession of the accused. The case is stated to be have been charge-sheeted and the learned prosecution was directed to procure and instruction as to whether the present petitioner has been sent up for trial. 4. In this context, the learned Addl. P.P. submits that the petitioner has also been sent up for trial in the charge-sheet. In view of the completion of the investigation, I allow this petition and it is directed that in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, in connection with the above case, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, subject, of course, to the following conditions:- (i) That the accused person shall be available for trial, if once commences and appear before the learned Court below as an when required. Page No.# 3/3 (ii) That the accused person shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 5. In case of violation of any bail conditions, bail will be liable to be cancelled. 6.
