1. The present contempt case has been filed for non-compliance of order dated 28.02.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.825 of 2024.
2. It has been mandated by this Court that the petitioners should be allowed to participate in the counselling process and they have been allowed to participate in the counselling process.
3. The case of the petitioners is that in spite of the fact that some of the selected person has got less marks, even then these petitioners have not been offered appointment letters.
4. In the show cause filed by the State, it has been stated that the appointment letters have not been offered just because of the reason that there is no vacancy.
5. Thus, it is a fresh cause of action and the petitioners have every right to challenge the same.
6. Considering the above fact, the present contempt case is, hereby, dropped and proceeding stands dropped giving liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in accordance with law.
