Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed works i.e., Providing C.C. Roads. C.C. Drains at A) From D.No.44-17-2/2A to 44-17-2/7 at Vinayaka Street, B) D.No.51-1-5/11 to 51-1-32/4 at Satyadevi Nagar in 25*'' division, as entrusted by the respondents and submitted final bills. It is submitted that the competent authority has also recorded the progress of works and certified the works in the M-Book. It is submitted that, in ail, an amount of Rs. 18,89,257/- is due and payable by the respondents to the petitioner. Though the works progress was recorded in the M-Book, no amounts have been forth coming.

learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development; the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance & Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-corporation.
3. Considering the submissions, the respondent Nos.3 to 5 are hereby
directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. as
