This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 by the petitioner apprehending his arrest by the authorities of Hatigaon Police Station. Page No.# 2/2 It is stated in the application that the petitioner was not being informed of any case being registered against him, yet he was required to report to the Hatigaon P.S. again and again, for which he apprehends his arrest without being informed of the case. Today, learned APP, Assam submits that there is no case registered against him. On such submission, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this pre-arrest bail application with liberty to approach again, if the necessity arises in future. The instant pre-arrest bail application stands closed, with liberty as prayed for. The instruction received by the learned APP, Assam is kept on record and marked as Annexure-X.
