Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 21.04.2025, which reads as under:
1. The undersigned petitioner student of PG-MD course for the academic year 2020-2023, had challenged the erroneous and non-compliant method of scoring answer sheets (practical/viva) of the petitioner. The Petitioner had passed his theory held in December, 2023. The petitioner also had sought for an interim relief that the petitioner may be permitted to take the practical/viva examination in the interim and if the petitioner succeeds in the said exam then the petitioner should be deemed to have passed along with the theory examination of 2023 which he had anyway passed. An interim order came to be passed in the matter.
2. The petitioner undertook both the theory and practical examination in June 2024 and he passed in both.

3. The petitioner states that the case remains pending for various reasons. Due to this pendency, the issuance of the final certificate of his post-graduation remains pending with the respondent University, despite having passed the practical and theory examination, which as stated above, he took in the interim, (during June 2024) while the Petition was pending.
4. The undersigned submits that this pendency of the case and pendency of issuance of certificate severely impinges on the academic and professional career of the petitioner and therefore in such constraining circumstances, the petitioner intends to withdraw the petition. Wherefore the petitioner prays that this Hon’ble Court may permit the petitioner to withdraw this writ petition interest of justice and equity.”
2. The aforesaid memo is placed on record.
