Defendants 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.S.No.660 of 2015 Prayer: Civil Suit filed under 92 CPC and Order VII Rule 1 of Civil Procedure Code r/w Order IV Rule 1 of High Court O.S Rules, praying to pass a judgement and decree; a) that a scheme may be framed for the proper management and administration of the properties and charities of "P.Veeraraghavalu Chetty Private Family Charitable, Religious and Educational Trust" the 8th defendant by the appointment of Trustees from among the descendants of the deceased P.Veeraraghavalu Chety excepting the 4th defendant, for such administration and conduct of charities b) for removal of the 4th defendant from the Managing Trusteeship and the possession of the properties, with a direction to him to deliver possession of all the trust properties to the successor appointed in his place c) direction be issued to the 4th defendant to account for the income, rents and profits of the properties described in Schedules A to C from 15.07.2012 till date and directing the 4th defendant to furnish security for the sum of Rs.6,00,000/- in cash or by way of immovable property. d) appointing any other trustee as the Managing trustee of the 8th defendant. e) appointing any other descendant or descendants of late P.Veeraraghavalu Chetty as another trustee or trustees, 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.S.No.660 of 2015 eligible to become Managing Trustee of the 8th defendant. f) to authorize and / or direct the sale of any or all of the agricultural lands and utilize the funds for construction of Marriage halls in Chennai and start and run a Primary school in the name of the founder of the 8th defendant Trust. g) for costs. Again, when the matter came up for hearing on 17.02.2025, the plaintiffs did not appear before this Court and the learned counsel for the plaintiffs submitted that he has given change of vakalat before the Registry.
