By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- “I. Issue an order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 the respondents to accept the Application form of the petitioner for the post of Sub Inspector on the basis of clause 8 (2) of the advertisement dated 03-01-2022, by which the dependents of freedom fighter have been given relaxation of 05 years in the upper age limit. due to age criteria the petitioner's application form is not being accepted, else the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury and the same cannot be compensated by any means.” 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to subsequent developments, the writ petition has become infructuous. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
