Vide order dated 29.12.2025, applicant came to be admitted to interim bail by this Court in case FIR No.13/2025 for offences under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act. 02. Mr. Pawan Dev Singh, learned Dy.AG has submitted that he has filed status report in the Registry today. He has produced a copy of the same in the open Court. 03. Background facts of the case are that on 01.03.2025, Police Post, GRP Vijaypur received a docket from Incharge, Platform Camp, Railway Station, Vijaypur alleging, inter alia, that during Nakka duty at about 2:05 p.m. a person came to be noticed, who, on seeing the Police party, made an attempt to give a slip to the Police officials. He came to be apprehended and on checking, one packet came to be recovered from his bag and when it was opened, it revealed that some Ganja like substance was being carried by him. When inquired, the said person revealed his Sr. No. 05 2 name as Amola Ram, the applicant herein. On the receipt of this docket, FIR No.13/2025 came to be registered against the applicant. 04. During investigation, the alleged contraband weighed 4.016 kg of Ganja. The investigation culminated in the presentation of charge sheet against the applicant. Applicant is behind the bars for more than a year now. 05. Since the contraband alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the applicant is an intermediate quantity and investigation of the case has already culminated in the presentation of charge sheet, further incarceration of the applicant shall not serve any purpose. Hence, present application is allowed and order dated 29.12.2025 is made absolute subject, however, to the same terms and conditions. 06. Disposed of along with connected application(s).
