G V V S VARA PRASAD 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.18664 OF 2019 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “….to issue an order, direction or a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent no.3 to 8 who are the police officers of I town PS Kadapa District in asking the petitioners especially the 2nd petitioner to go to the police station at the behest of Respondents 9 and 10, for a settlement of civil disputes that are pending between the 1st petitioner and respondents no 9 and 10 and also threatening the petitioners their life property and children writs severe consequences in case they fail to go for a settlement of all civil cases that are pending between the petitioners and R9 and R10 and the DySP, CI of police and the ASI of I town PS Kadapa asking the petitioners to attend the police station for some enquiry or other as illegal arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequentially direct the respondents no.3 to 8 not to interfere into civil disputes and civil cases and not to call for the petitioners to the police station for any settlement of civil cases pending between the 1st petitioner and respondents no.9 and 10 and not to interfere into the personal and civil liberties of the petitioners and to pass…” 2. Heard Sri S.S.Bhatt, learned counsel for the writ petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the earlier officers were transferred and therefore, at present there is no threat to the petitioners as alleged in the writ petition. 4. In that view of the matter, at this length of time, no further orders are required in the writ petition and it may be closed. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 4 As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE B.V.L.N.
