JUSTICE UNNI KRISHNAN NAIR ORDER 27/11/2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Sentiyanger. Also heard Mr. M. Longkumer, learned Government Advocate as well as learned counsel, Mr. Nisuka Chishi for the respondents. 2. As agreed to by the learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is taken for final consideration and disposal at the initial state itself. 3. The present writ petition was instituted by the petitioner praying for release of her due salaries from which has been stated to be in arrears w.e.f April, 2020 till the date of filing of the writ petition. The respondents had entered appearance in the matter and filed an affidavit, in the affidavit, it was clearly stated that the salaries of the petitioner was being regularly paid till the date of her termination from services. However, the salaries of the petitioner w.e.f April, 2020 to October, 2022 was not released. The respondents have claimed that an amount of Rs. 5,58,741/- is receivable by the petitioner, being the arrears salaries for the period April, 2020 to October, 2022. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions has also submitted that the petitioner is to receive her arrears salaries for the period April, 2020 to October, 2022 and accordingly, accepts the contention of the respondents made in this connection. In the affidavit, Page No.# 3/3 the respondents had under taken to clear the arrears of salaries of the petitioner for the period of April, 2020 to October, 2022 on or before 30.08.2025. However, the learned counsels for the parties have submitted that the said amount has not been released by the respondent university. The learned counsel for the respondent’s university submits that the amount involve would be released within 15(fifteen) days from today. 5. In view of the consensus reached between the parties to the proceeding, the respondent University is directed to release to the petitioner her arrears of salary for the period w.e.f April, 2020 to October, 2022 within a period of 15(fifteen) days, w.e.f the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Petitioner to submit a certified copy of this order before the authorities of the Respondent University for compliance of the direction passed, hereinabove. 6.
