In the instant petition, the petitioner has alleged non-compliance of order dated 31.08.2012 passed by this Court in SWP No. 1835/2012, whereby while disposing of the main petition the respondents were directed to accord consideration to the claim set out in the writ petition, of course, in accordance with rules occupying the field and take decision thereon within four weeks. The petitioner was also directed to handover the copy of the petition with copies of its annexures to the respondents so as to facilitate early decision in the matter. 2. Compliance report has been filed by the respondents, in which respondents have taken a specific stand and a detailed consideration order No.DULBJ/2012/15135-38 dated 01.10.2012, has been passed by the Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu, whereby the case of the petitioner has been examined and found not covered for his regularization in accordance with the rules occupying the field. This Court after perusal of the consideration order passed by the respondents, is of the view that the judgment/order dated 31.08.2012 passed by this Court stands complied with in its letter and spirit and no fruitful purpose will be served to keep this contempt petition pending. Accordingly, proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 01.10.2012, if so advised.
