OMP(M) No. 407 of 2025 The present application has been filed by the applicant-appellant seeking for condonation of delay of 261 days in filing the present appeal. As per the averments made in the application, it is stated that the applicant/ appellant had engaged M/s Kini Law Firm to challenge the arbitral award before the learned District Judge, Mandi. Thereafter, the engaged counsel, vide its legal opinion dated 18.06.2025, advised the appellant to file an appeal against the impugned judgment dated 02.12.2024. It is only then that the appellant acquired knowledge of the passing of the said impugned judgment. Subsequently, the applicant/appellant took the necessary steps for filing the present appeal, however, the process took considerable time, resulting in the aforesid delay. Learned counsel for the respondent/non- applicant has stated that they have no objection, if the present application is allowed. In view of the averments as made in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit and keeping in view the fact that the learned counsel for the applicant has no objection in case delay is condoned, the presnet application is allowed and the delay of 261 days in filing the appeal is condoned.
