The joint memo is submitted, which is signed by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondent and also the respondent who is present before the Court. 2. The respondent submits that the dispute is amicably settled in terms of the joint memo filed before the Court. The petitioner-Corporation has assailed the award in ID No.09/2018 dated 18.09.2021 on the file of the Principal District and Session Judge, Chikkaballapura. The joint memo reads as under: "The WP filed against the award in ID.No.09/2018 Dated 18.9.2021 on the file of the Principal District & Session Judge, Chikkaballapura has been settled between the parties on the following terms and the award may kindly be modified as under: 1. The petitioner - Corporation is agreed to reinstate the Respondent-workman into service with continuity of service without consequential benefits, without backwages from the date of dismissal till the date of actual reinstatement by withholding 2 ensuing annual increments with cumulative effect. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:8655 WP No. 15245 of 2022 2. The workman is not entitled for any difference of wages from the date of reinstatement as per the interim order of the Hon'ble High Court till the date of settlement. 3. The Respondent workman agrees for the above terms." 3. This Court, after going through the joint memo, is of the view that there is no impediment to accept the settlement.
