1. By this petition, petitioner herein has alleged non compliance of the
order passed by this Court on 28.04.2017 in OWP No. 592/2017, operative portion of which is reproduced as under: -
“This petition is taken on board and is disposed of by directing respondent no. 1 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for renewal of the arms license as per details given above w.e.f the year 2006 till date subject to petitioner’s entitlement in accordance with the provisions of the Arms Act, 1959, rules framed thereunder and the policy of the Government applicable in respect thereof as well as the recommendations made by the District Magistrate (Supra), as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.” Sr. No. 36 2

2. Compliance report stands filed in the compliance report, it has been stated that the claim of the petitioner was considered and a speaking order is passed vide Government Order No. 928-Home of 2017 dated 21.07.2017, whereby the claim of the petitioner for grant of renewal of already expired license of the petitioner has been found devoid of any merit and has been rejected.
3. By passing of the consideration order, the respondents have implemented order dated 28.04.2017 in its letter and spirit. Therefore, proceeding in this petition are closed.
4. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the
consideration order dated 21.07.2017, if he so desires.
