JUSTICE NELSON SAILO ORDER Date : 15-12-2025 Heard Mr. AR Bhuyan, learned counsel for the applicant, who submits that by filing this application, the applicant seeks impleadment of (1) Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of Higher Education, (2) Director of Higher Education, Assam, (3) Principal, Mahamaya Degree College, Bagribari, Kokrajhar and (4) The Governing Body of Mahamaya Degree College, Bagribari, Kokrajhar represented by its President, Dr. Mihir Kr. Brahma as respondent Nos. 1, 2, 6 & 7 respectively. The learned counsel also submits that since the Secondary Education Department is not a necessary party, the original respondent Nos. 1 & 2 may be struck off and be replaced by the Secretary and Director of the Higher Education Department at Sl. No. 1 & 2 stated hereinabove. Considering the submissions made and on perusal of the above, impleadment of the Secretary and Director of Higher Education is hereby allowed as respondent Nos. 1 & 2 and the Principal and Governing Body of Mahamaya Degree College, Bagribari, Kokrajhar is also allowed to be impleaded as respondent Nos. 6 & 7. Further, the original respondent Nos. 1 & 2 is allowed to be deleted as a party respondents in the original writ petition. Page No.# 3/3 Interlocutory application stands disposed of as allowed.
