Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, Ms. U. Das, the learned Additional Senior Government Advocate has placed
Page No.# 3/4 before this Court an instruction dated 01.12.2025 issued by the District Commissioner, Dhubri wherein the amounts payable to the petitioners to the tune of Rs. 21,50,118/- is now shown to be available with the District Commissioner, Dhubri for onward payment to the petitioners. The said instruction is kept on record and marked with the letter “Z”. 2. The learned Additional Senior Government Advocate submitted that upon submission of the bank account of the respective petitioners as well as the NOKs, the said amounts would be disbursed to the petitioners. 3. Taking into account the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the following observations and directions: (i) The District Commissioner, Dhubri is directed to disburse the amounts due to the petitioners upon providing the bank account details as well as the NOKs (in respect to those petitioners where it is required). (ii) The said payment shall be made within 7 (seven) days from the date of providing the particulars as mentioned above.
(iii) There shall be no accrual of the interest on the Awards in question, taking into account that the amounts are ready
