GP FOR COOPERATION (AP) 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “…..to issue a writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondents in not considering the petitioners candidatures as per merit for promotions to the post of Deputy Registrars and also Respondents in not implementing the Inter Se Seniority / Notional Seniority list from 2001 onwards in spite of petitioner's several personal approaches and representations dated 03-09-2019, 05- 09-2019 86 17-10-2019 is illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the rulings of the Apex Court, and AP State Subordinate service rules 1996 in rule Nos.33(b) (c) and also against to the Principles of natural justice and equity and consequently direct the Respondents to consider representations dated 03-09-2019, 05-09- 2019 and 17-10-2019 of the petitioners for promotions to the post of Deputy Registrars as per merit by implementing the Inter Se Seniority / Notional Seniority list from 2001 onwards as per the rulings of the Apex Court, and AP State Subordinate service rules 1996 in rule Nos.33(b) 86 (c) forthwith……” 2. Heard Sri Md.Saleem, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Cooperation. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present writ petition has been filed challenging the inaction of the respondents in considering the petitioners' cases for promotion to the post of Deputy Registrar. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on the basis of written instructions, submits that the petitioners' cases for promotion have been duly considered 4 and that they will be promoted shortly. Therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in the matter. 5. The Learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed on record the proceedings of the Commissioner for Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, A.P., Guntur, dated 28.10.2024, wherein the names of the petitioners appear at Serial Nos.1, 3, and 13 in Zone-III, and at Serial No. 31 in Zone-II. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, this Writ Petition may be disposed of. 7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
