Also heard Mr. CKS Baruah, learned Government Advocate, Assam and Ms. S Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, Health Department. 2] The petitioner before this Court is aggrieved that his representation dated 30.07.2025 submitted before the Joint Director of health Services, Golaghat has not been considered. By the said representation addressed to the Joint Director of Health Services, Golaghat, the petitioner has prayed for earned leave for treatment of his father’s ailments. He had taken earned leave from 06.06.2025 to 06.10.2025. According to the petitioner, because of compelling reasons requiring him to take his father for treatment for he had to avail this earned leave. However, this earned leave was not sanctioned in spite of the representation being filed. Accordingly, the petitioner has approached this Court Page No.# 3/3 praying for a direction. 3] Considering the limited prayer of the writ petitioner, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be closed at this stage without issuance any notice as the respondents are also duly represented by the learned Standing Counsel, Health Department and learned Government Advocate, Assam. 4] Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Joint Director, Health Service, Golaghat to expeditiously consider and dispose of the representation dated 30.07.2025 filed by the petitioner stated to have been pending before the said Authority. The Joint Director, Health Service, Golaghat will pass appropriate orders thereon. If in the meantime, any such order had been passed then a copy thereof shall be served to the writ petitioner without any further delay. The direction be carried out within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5] With the above observation and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
