2 / THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO: 19821/2025 The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the non disbursal of the Petitioner’s medical bill amount totallying Rs.3,75,512/- as per G.O.Ms.No.159. dated 22.12.2024. 2. The Petitioner is a retired Government Employee. He had underwent medical treatment at Ozone Hospital, Kothapet, Hyderabad and submitted bills totalling about Rs.5,00,000/-. Out of which, an amount of Rs.1,05,225/- was paid to the Petitioner and the remaining amount is still due to the Petitioner. The Petitioner in the pleadings relied upon the recommendation given by the Respondent No.5 vide Letter dated 26.04.2021 recommending Respondent No.4 to pay the due amount to the Petitioner by relaxing the rules specified in G.OMs.No.159, dated 22.12.2024. The grievance of the Petitioner is that though the recommendation was made in the year 2021, there is no progress on the recommendation and with growing age, the medical attention to the Petitioner is costing more and more.
It was in that context, the present Writ Petition was filed so as to utilize the amounts recommended by the Respondent No.5 for immediate and future medical expenses. 3. 3
