JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR SHARMA ORDER 01.12.2025 1. Heard Mr. A.R. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that the communication has been received from the Officer-in-Charge of Crime Branch P.S stating that as per record, no case has been registered against the present petitioner i.e. Mainuddin Ahmed but in connection with another case that is Criminal Branch P.S Case No.08/2025, one FIR named accused Md. Mainu Haque of Lakhimpur district, Assam is yet to be apprehended. 3. Apparently, the person wanted in Criminal Branch P.S Case No.08/2025 is different from the present petitioner as neither their names nor their place of residence match. 4. Hence, this petition is not maintainable. 5. As per as the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is concerned stating that he was summoned by the Police and some demand was made upon him, it would be open for the petitioner to Page No.# 3/3 seek appropriate remedies as may be permitted by law. 6.
