Petitioners have been made an accused in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No. 34 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 336/ 338/ 340/ 341 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 47 (a) of the Excise Act and Section 63 of the Copy Right Act, pending in the Court of the learned A.C.J.M at Seraikella. On 18.10.2024, Kuchai police apprehend the petitioners along with co-accused persons from a house near Junglee Pahadi Kuchai and on search huge quantity of country made liquor were recovered from the place of occurrence. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were working as a labourer along with other persons at the place of occurrence. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.11134 of 2024. Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M at Seraikella, in connection with Kuchai P.S.
