GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “….to pass orders particularly one in the nature of writ mandamus declaring the inaction of respondents in not taking any action against the respondents even though the petitioner has made a complaint as illegal, arbitrary and it violates the principles of natural justice and consequently, direct the respondents to consider his complaint and get the FIR registered and pass…. 2. Heard Sri M.Vinod Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is not registered though the petitioner made a complaint to the police. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on written instructions dated 10.01.2025 would submit that a case was registered in Cr.No.01/2025 under Section 318(4) BNS. 5. It is beneficial to extract relevant portion from written instructions below: It is further submitted on 09.01.2025 night at 22.00 hours the petitioner visited Balaji Nagar Police Station, Nellore and submitted written report against the respondents (respondent Nos.6 to 8) to the Station House Officer, Balaji Nagar Police Station, Nellore. Accordingly, SHO (Sri P.Srinivasa Raju, ASI- 1367), Balaji Nagar PS, Nellore registered the complaint of the petitioner a a case in Cr.No.01/2025 u/s 318(4) BNS of Balaji Nagar PS, Nellore on 4 09.01.2025 at 22.00 hrs, dispatched the FIRs to all officers concerned and took up investigation. 6. Considering the submissions made, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
