BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE KARDAK ETE ORDER Date : 17.12.2025
Heard Mr. Parash Kumar Bhattacharjee, petitioner-in-person. Also heard Mr. N. Upadhayay, learned Standing Counsel, Irrigation Department for respondents.
This review petition has been filed seeking review of the order dated 03.09.2025, passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 4185/2023, whereby Mr. S. Banik, learned counsel, was appointed as Amicus Curiae after considering the interest of the petitioner-in-person.
It is submitted by Parash Kumar Bhattacharjee, petitioner-in-person, that he may be allowed to plead/argue his case personally instead of proceeding through an Amicus Curiae.
This Court had consciously appointed Mr. S. Banik, learned counsel, as Amicus Curiae purely in the interest of the petitioner-in-person. However, if the petitioner wishes to plead the case himself, the appointment of an Amicus Curiae may not be necessary.

Review petition accordingly stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
