JUSTICE BISWAJIT PALIT Order 09/04/2026 Having regard to the Order dt.11.02.2026 in WP(C) No.1144/2021, in which the Supreme Court had directed the Chief Justices of the High Courts to entrust appeals under the Consumer Protection Act to a learned Single Judge of the High Court while deeming him to be the Chairperson of the State Commission, and directing the said Single Judge to invite the other Technical Members, who are already functioning, to complete the forum and hear the appeals, and since this Court has already designated Mr. Justice B. Palit as the Single Judge who will hear such appeals along with the other Technical Members, Registry is directed to place the appeal being Case No.A.35/2024 before Justice B. Palit for disposal in the normal course. The interim order granted by this Bench, shall continue till the said appeal is disposed of by Mr. Justice B. Palit, and other Technical Members.
