Also heard Ms. N. Das, learned APP for the State of Assam. 2. The case diary, which was called for, has been received. 3. The petitioner was arrested pursuant to the FIR lodged on 25.11.2025 by the Page No.# 2/2 informant, who stated that he had found one of his female buffaloes with a grievous cut injury in a serious condition in the agricultural field of the accused person. The injured buffalo was suspected to have been attacked with a sharp weapon, and further, the calf of the said buffalo was also found to be missing. It is suspected that, as the buffalo had entered the agricultural field of the petitioner herein, it was assaulted at the grazing land. 4. The petitioner was taken into custody on 02.12.2025. 5. The contents of the case diary have been perused. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we deem it fit to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned JMFC, Hajo. 7. The learned JMFC shall be at liberty to impose such further conditions as may be required to ensure the participation of the petitioner in the investigation of the matter. It is further provided that the petitioner shall not engage in any other criminal activity during the period of bail. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
